Yoga and Meditation
WhAT?
Yoga practice involves breath, body, and mind. Hatha Yoga classes generally start with a gentle warm-up, advance to more physical poses, and end with a short meditation.
Yin Yoga is a meditative approach and emphasizes breathwork to help control the mind. Long held postures apply moderate stress to the connective tissue of the body with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
Meditation is a means of transforming the mind and experiencing a deeper level of awareness. Meditation techniques help achieve an emotionally calm stable state.
